Key Features

  • Uniform adhesive transfer ensures perfect bonding over entire flute tips
  • High production feed rate reaches up to 150 meters of material per minute
  • Available in classic 3-roll and fine-control 4-roll applicator modules
  • Ground, hard-chrome coated rollers resist wear and starch corrosion
  • Fine-threaded manual gap adjustments allow micro-pasting regulation
  • Energy-efficient performance runs on a single 0.5 HP motor infrastructure

How It Works

  1. The starch or silicate glue paste is filled into the integrated bottom structural stainless-steel tray.
  2. The pick-up roller rotates through the basin, carrying a film of adhesive up to the main application roll.
  3. Operators feed the 2-ply corrugated sheet with its fluted side downward facing the application roll surface.
  4. The board is smoothly pulled across the roller line, collecting an even adhesive film across the flute crests.

Applications

3-Ply & 5-Ply Board Making
Master Shipping Carton Assembly
Heavy Sheet Laminating Shops
Semi-Automatic Packing Plants

Why Industrial Buyers Choose Golden Brand

  • Minimizes adhesive wastage through balanced doctor roller calibration
  • Prevents core structural board warping by restricting excessive moisture transfer
  • Compact, space-saving design permits painless adaptation in small areas
  • Inclusive of factory structural installation, adjustment tuning, and operations guide

Frequently Asked Questions

Important maintenance and operational insights for the Corrugated Gluing Line

What is the primary function of the Sheet Pasting Machine in a box manufacturing facility?

The machine is purpose-built to apply a clean, uniform layer of liquid starch glue onto the exposed flute tips of a 2-ply corrugated sheet. This allows it to be bonded manually or mechanically to another liner board or sheet, assembling rigid 3-ply, 5-ply, or 7-ply heavy-duty board structures.

What is the operational difference between the 3-roll and 4-roll configurations?

The standard 3-roll model uses an application roll, a doctor roll, and a pressure roll for quick, effective pasting. The upgraded 4-roll model includes an additional scraping/transfer roll mechanism that gives superior micro-control over glue film thickness, preventing liner sheet warping and reducing overall starch paste consumption.

What are the technical capacity parameters regarding speed and power intake?

This series achieves high-efficiency processing speeds up to 150 meters per minute. Remarkably, the entire structural drive train is optimized to run smoothly on a highly efficient 0.5 HP electric motor profile.

Are the weights listed in the technical specifications table in Metric Tons (MT) or Kilograms (Kg)?

For the Sheet Pasting Machine, the values '500 to 850' represent the actual approximate weight layout in Kilograms (Kg) rather than heavy metric tons, reflecting its compact, floor-accessible, low-vibration architecture.

How can we maintain the long-term durability of the pasting rollers?

Because starch glue can dry and form hard deposits, we recommend washing down the application and doctor rollers with warm water immediately after ending a production run. Hard chrome-plated roller surface treatments help prevent rust.
